UIN Online – The spirit UIN Alauddin students to take part in the world is really blazing. It is not just becoming a member, even becoming the founder, one of them is the organization formed by the students of Biology Education, Cypselurus.

Cypselurus is still fairly young. It was formed on February 6, 2014. Organizations engaged in research and Islamic study currently has 12 members who are all derived from biology education department.

Its declaration was quite unique because it was held in the mangrove forests of Tongke - Tongke village, East Sinjai. The reading of the text declaration was read in the middle of the woods. After that, the activity was continued by visiting the Karampuang beach of Pattongko village, Tellu limpoe district, Sinjai regency. Activity was still continued by Tahura mountain climbing (People's Forest Park), Sinjai Borong district of Sinjai regency.

The purpose of Cypselurus organization is to create the expert cadres in research and have a deep understanding of the Islamic teachings.

In addition to the Declaration, Cypselurus also conduct Work Meeting (Raker) in Baitulrahman mosque, Sinjai Borong district, February 7, 2014. The work programs that will be carried out are Snorkeling training, cinema-photography training, scientific writings, survey research in Takabone rate in Selayar regency, research result exhibition, and so forth.

"Hopefully, Cypselurus will be a great organization and exists in UIN Alauddin Makassar environment, and has members who are ready to participated in society if needed by the government/private agencies," said Muh. Tauhid who is one of the pioneer members.
