The Affirmation Program of MORA for Students of Papua and West Papua

UIN Online - Unit of the Development Acceleration of Papua and West Papua (UP4B) in collaboration with the General Director of Islamic University under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) makes affirmation program of high education for the students from Papua and West Papua.

There are at least 64 people who are sent to six UINs in Indonesia, they are, 14 students to UIN Alauddin Makassar, 13 students to UIN Jakarta, 12 students to UIN Malang, 11 students to UIN Yogyakarta, 11 students to UIN Bandung, and 3 students to UIN Pekanbaru.

It was delivered by the Head of Student and Alumni Affairs Unit, Drs. Alwan Suban, M.Ag. "UIN Alauddin Makassar gets quota of 14 students," he said. He further said, UIN Alauddin only received them in five faculties, they are, four students in Health Science Faculty, three students in Economics and Islamic Business Faculty, one student in Shariah and Law Faculty, three students in Tarbiyah and Teaching Science Faculty, and three students in Science and Technology Faculty.

Meanwhile, Vice Rector of Academic Affairs of UIN Alauddin, Prof. Dr. Ahmad M Sewang, MA., stated that UIN Alauddin only allotted about 10%, therefore, those who would be the students of UIN Alauddin should participate in their lectures seriously.

"Those who will join in our university should study seriously to complete their study on time," he hoped.
